With the Warhammer release most of us have been grinding away and learning the nuances of this new MMO. The server we chose, Dark Crag, is definitely a competitive server but with that comes the highest population out of any of the servers. This means long queue times while we wait for a slot just to play the game. It sounds ridiculous to have to pay to wait to play a game but it’s the cost of having competition available to you day in and day out. So, with the boredome of sitting in a queue during the day (play late night to avoid it) I’ve been screwing around with a website called Go Animate! which lets you create your own animated cartoons. It’s a great evolution with flash interfaces that with minimal video editing experience you can create pretty detailed comic style flash movies. Here’s the first one I whipped up to experiment with.

So Warhammer has begun. As you can see, I am ready.

Those that got in the pre-release are already halfway to 40 and are leveling hard. For the rest of us we’ll be able to begin leveling tonight. Let’s hope the 1 hour queue isn’t something we’re going to have to endure on release or this is going to be one messy launch. But we’ll have faith that Mythic has it under control as they have been here before. In the meantime you should already have a class on Destruction picked out and you can work on your builds. We are recruiting for our guild but you should have a Hostile vouch for you and then you can post here for access and an invite.

Can you believe people still play TF2?

A couple of the old school clans you’d recognize include Djedi, Clan Sandman and virulent’s All Stars.

Yeah, competition wise it’s pretty thin nowadays but you can still get your moneys worth off your TF2 purchase, with class based achievements being rolled out every 2 months (HWGuy, Medic and Pyro out) and Vilepickle releasing a new map every couple of months it’s still fun to jump and gib some noobs.

I’ve never been a big fan of Metallica…

But since they have a new album out this picture is relevant.

As a former mascot I detest the thought of Furries.

They ruin the fur based antics I used to get in by degrading people in costume.

And what kinda redneck needs to hump while covered in fur, you know how hot it gets in those things?!

I love when people come on a forum and ask for help.

Usually, it doesn’t work out the way you expected.

I’m off to Toronto tomorrow. It’s time for Gunny’s Eve intervention so I will do my best to free him from the shackles of interplanetary RPGing and return him to the fold. But when I get back you’ll all be ensconced in the world of Warhammer, battling the do gooder Order side. While you wait for that games release I highly recommend GiantBomb, a very creative games review site. Before you buy always do your research and see what people think of a game!
