Modern Warfare 2 has to be considered one of the most prolific and profitable game of all time. And in a few months we’ll see it all happen again with Black Ops. But, there was a lot wrong with Modern Warfare 2 and some of it was because of its success. The sheer number of people playing the deep multiplayer leveling system day in and day out meant people had MONTHS of play time and with over a billion dollars made, 20 million downloads of the DLC maps and it’s obvious you’re going to have a few exploits uncovered. But the sheer amount that have been uncovered is ludicrous! Crazy ones too, where hax are able to shoot people and instead of killing them you level them up or drop infinite crates. Following the success of TF2 it was inevitable developers would figure out that with so many weapon based fighting games out there that taking a more comical approach allowed them to set themselves apart. So we’re finally seeing some new clones that are obviously inspired from Valve’s baby. The first one is Monday Night Combat which will be an XBox Arcade title that comes out August 11th and will be 1200 MS. It’s class based and looks to have about 4 uniques per class. I know all you digital degenerates think I’m against PC gaming since I play most of my games on consoles nowadays. But little do you know I am doing my part to try and keep PC gaming viable. That isn’t easy as it has a lot going against it but PC gaming is still the best dynamic platform for games and if it wasn’t for the ease to warez PC titles we’d see a lot more being made. So, since it’s been a steady decline the last few years let’s look back at some of the most underrated and weirdest PC games of all time.
