There’s this Diablo-esque game I don’t care about called Mythos that is now open for beta sign-up.

So for those still hooked on Yahoo Live you know there’s only a few people out there worth viewing. Mr Hands of course, is god of Yahoo with his horse face and rockin’ out everyone seems to end up there. One of his biggest fans in the possible jailbait of Lilya. She strips, she dances she prances for the horsey. Even though you get to see everything the one thing you don’t get to see is her face.

Fighting games have always disappointed me, besides the Soul Caliber series I’ve never found one I have thoroughly enjoyed. So it seems that PlanetSide is on its last legs and has decided to merge the last 2 remaining servers on May 20th. Obviously this game has reached it’s final stages and while they are introducing some new content it’s obvious this will be the last hoorah for the remaining players. Sarge has re-subbed and will be leading the outfit in one last maniacal push to piss off the other empires and any other annoyances out there. So the big news around the gaming front in #Hostile is that Age of Conan is fast approaching. While we haven’t determined yet if this is the next big guild MMO for us to rape and pillage in, there’s definitely potential there. We’ll know more now as on May 1st the Open Beta will begin. If you have a FilePlanet account and are lucky enough to be one of the first 50,000 then you should be able to get an account.
If it is a game you decide to pick up then you need to decide on two things. Do you want to pre-order and do you want the collectors edition. If you pre-order then you’ll be entitled to start playing 3 days earlier than everyone else. You’ll also get 10 free days added to your free 1st month of play. Some retailers will also have actual items that you get, such as the War Mammoth or the Killer Rhino, both of which are used in PvP battles and as mounts. Another item you’ll receive is the Amazon Curved Bow which will be dealing plenty of death. If you purchase the Collector’s edition then you’ll get all the standard extras of an RPG special edition and a few in-game items. The first of which is the Ring of Acheronia which will give you an immediate XP and stamina enhancement. You’ll also receive The Drinking Cape, an item that will allow you to drink for free in any tavern in Hyboria. You’ll also get 5 free guest passes to let your friends try the game out and get them hooked.
So there’s the deals, if you’d like to know more about the game both Speedy and I are in the technical beta and I am sure more will be in the open beta by the end of the month.

Man, it must suck to still be addicted to WoW like some of you are. I know, it’s a tough drug to quit. But you know what, you need to do it. So here’s how it is done. Uninstall. Find a smaller less grindy game to keep you busy. Go outside. Rob the elderly. Spend winnings on other fun stuff, not more plat!
