Ah, the homo erotic adventures of Age of Conan. I felt it’s time to acknowledge this game because a lot of people have been enjoying it the last few weeks and if you’re a previous MMO player or still addicted to WoW then it’s too bad you haven’t given it a chance yet. While it has its fair share of problems it at least is a bit more exciting than the usual MMO style gameplay. The real problem right now is the lacking content and not just in the end game. Tradeskills, class balance, zone work and countless other bugs are just a number of things that need immediate attention and from the first few weeks it doesn’t look like it’ll be a speedy recovery. But you do have to remember that MMOs need time to develop so remember that when you’re using your 5 button combos to deal hilarious fatalities to those cloth wearers.
As for the Ht guild our crew continues to build with community players like Hojo, Jayk, Cerb, Omedon, liquidfire and gigamonkey to name a few of the newer additions to the treadmill. The city has new buildings up and the main goal in development is resource gathering. Every class can have all 6 gathering skills so stock up on anything you can carry (thank god for that separate resource bag!) in preparation of the city upgrades that will be needed. A few players are approaching 80 already with Bucky and Odie both close.

People call me a music snob. I can’t stand most music in general and will voice my opinion so I guess it is warranted. I’ve worked in the music industry, I’ve been completely addicted to music and I’ve even created a bit of music. But in the end I’m a firm believer in enjoying what makes you feel good. Or bad. Or want to jump up and flail too. Whatever you’re into is good music, that’s the bottom line. I’m even aware that my infatuation with weirdo electro music is actually kinda terrible music-wise but it’s what I like right now. Looking back TF2 was a huge disappointment. Sure it gave us the classic FPS we all loved and improved it in a few key areas, namely the graphics. But all in all it wasn’t ment for competitive play and since it was busy wading in the kiddie pool we wanted to splash around in the ocean. You’ve got to give THQ some credit. They were smart enough to delay Saints Row 2 so the GTA hangover can wear off and people can fiend for some new games. It’d of been stupid to come out 2 weeks after GTA as no one would even blink an eye at a game that will most likely be a solid and entertaining experience now that their first iteration has passed and they can add fun content. Sure it pales in comparison to the world and interactivity Liberty City can deliver but it has plenty of fun stuff to do on its own level. Over the last century we’ve all had super heroes thrust down our throat. Be it in comics, crappy movies or even Halloween costumes they are everywhere. Dressed in skimpy outfits that no one would ever be caught dead in it’s surprising how much these queers are idolized. If you ran into DareDevil in his red tights and homo erotic devil cap on the streets wouldn’t you steer well clear of him? Hell yes. It’s always nice to see when a video game gets exposure they weren’t expecting. Take Fallout 3 for instance, they just got what we call a ‘free marketing push’ and from Al Qaeda no less. It seems the terrorist faction went and predicted what will happen to America if they keep up their nefarious non-Muslim ways in some video. Well, whities got a hold of it and one of the depictions was some concept art from Fallout 3!
Here’s something I find hard to believe.
Down in Brazil a lost tribe of bushmen in the rain forest near Peru have been discovered. Can you believe there is still areas in the world we haven’t explored and manipulated for our own gain?? These bushmen freaked when the airplane found them and started shooting arrows at them. As you can see from the pictures they like to paint themselves up and shoot blow darts at one another. Now that they have been discovered, let’s hope that they send one of those whiny bitches from My Sweet 16 Exiled down there to be thrown in a stew.
One of my favorite older movies is Happiness. It’s a dark comedy and stars Philip Seymour Hoffman before he hit it big. With a strong supporting cast and some really disturbing content it’s a hilarious cringe-a-thon. I know some people who tried to watch it had a hard time but in the end it all comes together in a great movie, even if you and the missus can barely look at each other once it’s done. I highly recommend downloading it if you’ve never had the pleasure of seeing it.
For those who used to visit Hostilism years ago you know this was a very NSFW website. Banned by work filters, hate mails and takedown requests all over the place it was your one stop shop for internet depravity. But times have changed and a clickable blog was the direction we went this time around. Sure we may not focus on the clan or games all that much but that’s because we’re better than you at the internets and we want to share our riches.
