Well, I don’t listen to Sufjan Stevens but I’m not surprised at the overall layout of this study based on musical preference relating to SAT scores.
So, MTV has stepped it up. I went from never, ever tuning into that bastard of a channel to having 3 shows queued up to DVR every Sunday. Rob’s Fantasy Factory, Nitro Circus, and the College Humor show. College Humor has been better than expected and they aren’t slouching because they are still releasing funny ass stuff on the interwebs as well.

Achievement Whoring Never Stops
I know I know, I’m an achievement whore. I can’t help being better than all of you ok, don’t judge me!! What would be cool is if we could gain achievements for things outside of games, here’s a few interesting suggestions.
Last month I was slightly shocked to see that T-Shirt Hell, the internets most depraved apparel shop, announced they were closing down due to numerous complaints on their content. Run by a dude named Sunshine Megatron (for reals) I thought this was a bit suspicious and decided not to make an order on a few of the phrase shirts I’ve always wanted but never had the nerve to actually own. Well it looked like I was right as it’s now since been announced that it was all a hoax to get sales. And it worked, 100,000 shirts sold in it’s final 2 weeks is pretty sweet. So kudos on faking out the general public Mr. Megatron and keep making the one t-shirt you can never wear in public.

Where’s My Pot of Gold Motherfucker?!
For those who still play NHL ’09 there’s a new patch coming! It’s already hit on the PSN but still waiting for Microsoft on the XBox tip. Anything worth playing is worth waiting for after all. The real good news is that EA is finally doing something right and keeping their games alive. Go figure.

I tried and tried to not get into Street Fighter IV. For one, I’m not azn so I can’t fathom the possibility of battling in sweaty arcades against other leather clad azns. I also believe Soul Caliber is the funnest fighter especially in the console age as it has plenty of story and unlock depth something Street Fighter has never really had. But after watching people play it at work and the fact it’s been a bit dry as far as console titles go I decided to give it a shot even if I don’t own some fancy arcade stick to rape Ryu’s with. But I have to say after one night of trying it all out the game is fun as hell. Bringing to next gen console they simplified the move layouts and don’t over burden you with the levels of intricacy you’ll need to learn. The new characters aren’t too bad and there’s a handful of unlockable characters with custom colors to unlock as well (DLC over the next 2 months will have alternate uniforms). As for the multiplayer, it’s nice to be able to enable in Arcade the ability to be matchmaked with other players except for the fact it just interrupts you! Still, it’s nice and smooth on 360 and of course there’s a ton of people to battle. Carl’s already over 130 wins…that boy needs to learn how to sleep. At any rate is this game worth buying? Yes. Because if you have a big screen and can play this in HD you’re in for one of the best art styles made in a video game to date and this will be a great game to battle online or with friends over. Look for the free Tournament DLC coming soon too! You can discuss anything Street Fighter related in this thread and all the unlocks and moves are in this thread.
