Damn I play alot of CoD WaW. Pretty much every night i need to get 50 kills or I can’t sleep properly. Thankfully people are pretty stupid in World at War and I can usually accomplish that quite quickly. But I’ve begun to become more creative with my kills so that it doesn’t get all stale. Ah tattoos. No longer taboo and it’s becoming quite trendy to be covered head to toe in them. But, one thing I have learned when approaching getting a tattoo is you have to be really sure you want it and that your art is something you can’t live without it being on your skin. Obviously I’m the only one who thinks like that after reading through all of Something Awful’s Revenge of the Tattoo. Very funny stuff and some real gems of bad tats so take a look.

Summer time means movie blockbusters. You’ve got Wolverine, Star Trek and the new Terminator to keep you busy for now and Transformers 2 and G.I. Joe to look forward to. But what always inevitably happens is a few other movies that rise to the top based off their merit of actually being worth seeing. You can also see both of these movies have something in common. Desolate apocalyptic landscapes, my fucking favorite! The first is an animated flick entitled 9. The second stars Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron and is called The Road. Valve tossed us a screwball this week as they continued to add to the Sniper update with the bow & arrow and now shield but then came the Spy update! It makes sense, the spy is the sniper bane and having tools to stop them means they need beefing too. Only problem is I am sure every server is packed with sniper and spies now, easily the 2 most annoying pub classes to play against. Bring it backstabbers! Check the Spy movie, best one so far. I feel that sometimes I need to help my fellow man. Take our old pal Ironhide for instance. Back in the TF days he was a little kid and went through some turbulent times. He’s always had problems with the ladies and has the criminal record to prove it. It’s not totally his fault either as he lives in Toronto which is a very stereotyping and snobby scene and he gets lost in the shuffle. Being an accomplished former player I knew this was a perfect time to mentor this young man and get him back on track. It wasn’t going to be easy, he has a lot going against him (physically and mentally) but it all has to start with infusing some confidence. So I blew sunshine up his ass to the best I could before I had him record his first video personal ad. Let me know what you think.

Hey look who jumped on the social networking fad!
I know it’s a few days late but who cares when cool stuff hits the internets. While we’re all so used to using Google for our every day search criterias now you can take it to the next level with Wolfram. Now in Alpha you can use Wolfram for any mathematical question you can think of as well as using it as a deeper layer of searching. It’ll take a bit to get used to what it can do for you so in the meantime watch the intro to learn more.

With the hockey season coming to an end as the quarterfinals wrap up we can begin to look forward to the sequel to the best sports game of all time, NHL 09. I’m no EA fan boy either, being employed by them for over 7 years I was a bit jaded with this franchise but they have more than made up for it in the last iteration. So NHL 10 will build upon what they’ve already got and we’re now beginning to see a glimpse of what we’ll get, hopefully one of those things is fixing all the glitch goals out there. I am sick of having no chance to save a shot from all the Alexander Oglitchkins out there. ESPN has posted up 5 things you need to know about NHL 10 and while you wait you can see what’s going on with this game through their twitter.
