A little something called Kodu Game Lab recently hit the XBox Marketplace. It’s a simplistic game creation editor that has been deemed so easy to use a child could create a game with it. For aspiring game developers this is a great way to get your feet wet and create some content. Or is it. Check out Paco’s review before you drop $5 on this ish, ya feel me?!
I’m sure many of you don’t know this but I am a professional writer. Blogging here doesn’t count, I do this for shits n’ giggles and to waste time. I recently had written an autobiography about my life’s adventures and began sending it out to publishers. The first response is, who the fuck are you! How rude. So after that failed attempt I decided to adapt it to a screenplay. Surely everyone would pay $15 to watch my life being re-enacted by Brad Pitt or another hunky facsimile right? Wrong. Not one bit. I was floored, didn’t they know who the fuck I am!? Ok, I had one last option. Television. The cesspool for the eyes had to be interested and I was right!! Although Showtime has questionable content at times I knew they couldn’t pass up this rollercoaster ride. I was wrong as they ignored me. But I am no quitter and I knew if they passed HBO wouldn’t since they have been warring for years now. This time I was right as they immediately fast tracked it and the pilot just recently aired to much critical acclaim. If you missed the premiere then you suck and I hope you die. Don’t forget, Sundays @ 8 on HBO to see me!

I am so sick to death of all the coverage this freak show is getting, it even catapulted into beloved Jeff Goldblum being reported as dead to keep the death train rolling. I don’t care if MJ suicided because of the stress of his impending shows or if 12 people have killed themselves since it’s his own fault for being a drug addict. I don’t care if his casket is open, gold or if worms eat his plastic face. Just let him be remembered for his music and leave all the drama alone already!

When MyBrute first hit I was annoyed by it. I can appreciate a nice little social multiplayer game like it is but that people would be spamming their URL consistently is never a good recipe for a game. But really it’s actually a nice and tidy multiplayer game that I am sure will evolve into something even better over time. But lo and behold the game has finally hit a medium it makes sense for, the iPhone. Check out the release notes.

Just caught a snippet on EP Daily about an upcoming free MMO FPS called Parabellum. It’s really a good idea, an evolution of the CounterStrike movement that caught the FPS world by storm. By infusing a community aspect to a strong based terrorists vs. CT combat system that can be built upon in an MMO style is a very smart idea and to have it be for free?! Sign me up. After the jump you can see some video of the gameplay but just from what I saw it definitely looks like it has a chance to be an adept shooter. The maps are based in city streets and are bright so you’ll be able to actually see your targets. Right now it’s entering Closed Beta and you are able to sign-up but you’ll need to creat a GamersFirst account beforehand. Even if the game isn’t astounding that shit is free and has progression, always a winning combo.
