So let me get this straight…

The guys over Valve first fucked up on rewarding all the new items in TF2 randomly so the only way people could actually get them was by using idling programs. They then change the system and now award players who didn’t use these programs with a stupid halo? Jesus Christ Valve, you really have ripped the soul out of the Team Fortress franchise haven’t you. TF was made for hardcore FPS players who wanted balance and a way to compete properly. Not only did you not deliver on either of these points but now you you punish the players who did all they could to have all the items YOU made. Everyone thinks Valve is such a great developer and it’s hard to argue with quality titles like HalfLife and Left4Dead but the reality is they have sticks so far up their asses it’s damaging their brains.

I am digging this Assassins Creed 2 music video. Game is going to be sick, too bad it comes out a week after Modern Warfare 2. I’ll nerd out on this one after Christmas I guess. Anyways, here’s the music video starring Ezio with music by Justice. Read more »

I managed to finish Batman Arkham Asylum last night and have to say, very impressed with this game. The production value is so good and it’s nice to see a studio put all they can into a game. While it is single player only and not the longest story with all the things you can do in the game it was very enjoyable. One of the best features of the game is the side exploration that the Riddler lets you do. Figuring out his riddles, collecting all the collectibles usually this shit is a pain in the ass but they did such a great job with it I found finding them all almost as fun as the main gameplay. You can get help completing all the riddles right here. Another bright spot of the game is the combat. Taking on 8 guys is not only fun but makes you feel powerful. Batman has a simple block to attack move you can do whenever someone throws a punch hat is extremely seamless and allows you to build combos while not even getting hit by all these assailants. On top of all this there is a secondary game mode called Challenges that let you compete on Leaderboards against your friends for score and time completed. You unlock these by completing the Riddles. If you get this on XBox they include a free Challenges map but if you get it on PS3 you get to use the Joker in the challenges! Finally PS3 does something cool. Anyways, even if you think single player games are a waste of money this is one game worth at least playing through.

Wow, now this guy is a true Star Wars nerd.

Normally I’d point and laugh incessantly but I have to admit, he’s styled it out.

Let’s take a look at some upcoming movies…

• The Men Who Stare At Goats stars George Clooney & Kevin Spacey.
• If you haven’t seen James Cameron’s Avatar yet, what’s your problem?
• Armored looks cheesy but least it’s action!
• Then there’s Legion which looks pretty damn kick-ass!
• Looks budget but I love a good Street Ball flick.
• A new Mike Judge comedy called Extract with some big stars!
