I know a lot of people are dissuaded by the fact that if you are going to buy a console that choosing the XBox 360 is not always the choice because of having to pay for a Gold membership on top of everything else is a rip-off. Once you do have it you see that it’s actually a good deal for what you get. Well now word is that the Live account cost will go up to $100 a year in the next couple years which will immediately infuriate everyone. But this is just a prediction and it’s for good reason, it’s because your XBox will eventually be your main entertainment box even over your cable box, offering all the content you crave (except porn).

1. Paranormal Activity
This cult movie just hit theatres and this is a pretty much perfect quality rip. There’s a bit of tinny audio but beggars can’t be choosers when it comes to new release movies and this one has a ton of buzz, being the new Blair Witch Project buzz flick. The movie consists of a couple who are visited by, you guessed it, some paranormal activity oooooh scary.
2. Up
One of the critically acclaimed movies of this year this animated movie is no kids movie, well ok kids can watch it but the story is thought provking and will appeal to adults. This rip is DVD quality.
3. A Perfect Getaway
This is a brand new DVD rip of a campy thriller slash horror. With a cast above the regular slasher style flicks this one has couples on a vacation to paradise that encounter some brutal murders and have to fight for their own lives.
4. Moon
I can’t wait to watch this one but because I haven’t been able to check the quality myself I can’t rank this higher, but word on the street is it’s excellent. This is one of the top science fiction movies of this year and that’s pretty lofty when you’re going up against District 9 (my movie of the year). Currently the top download on the Bay.
5. Drag Me To Hell
This one has been out for a bit now and is DVD quality. Pretty well done Sam Raimi horror that I was really getting into until…well you’ll find out.
