TF2 Beta Crashing? Temp Fix Incoming!
A few players like myself have been having problems with crashing during loading. The valve video comes up black and leads to a black window which then crashes. Well I messed with some options and found this fix :
- Click Properties.
- Click Set Launch Options
- Input into the box that opened “-novid -windowed” (without quotes)
- Click Ok
- Run TF2!
TF2 beta is FINALLY pushed live!
Sorry about the other day, no one had the correct information but now it really is out!
Restart your Steam and double click Team Fortress 2 under “My games”
My bad, we can’t enjoy yet! The launcher launches hl2.exe and it closes up right after the executable launches. Oh boy what a fun day!
Update 3: They finally fixed it and we played our hearts out (majority of us) for a good 2 hours. [Ht]Gunny has some servers up.

So with todays TF2 Beta release (which still hasn’t happened as of 10pm pst) the #TF2 channel has been going nuts with 600+ kids all spamming until their little fingers bleed in reverence of the ignorance of their god, TeamFortress2.

For those who played WoW with us you’ll remember all the drama that occurred between the PvP and the PvE crews. Well, I was forced to remove a few core Hostile members that I know we all didn’t want to do, as they had extreme skill and were great in our clan. But thankfully we’re able to put all that item based gayness behind us and welcome back one of our favorite members to the fold! With the demise of hand grens and specials for all of the classes in TF2, I thought this video summed up how much I’m going to miss detpaks. Hopefully modding is available just so I can go and blow the fuck out of the enemy base on Canalzon the remake!
Everyone prepare yourselves, actually better yet prepare your eyes for the LEMON PARTY COMMERCIAL. Apparently this thing aired on TV, I wish I saw it live because I would have been rolling off the couch. The jingle is not going to leave my head for a while and the recreated the image at the end is very well done. I must give this a job well done entertaining me and many others.

Oh wait…One of these leftism forms of hatred occur in Guitar Hero! The widely popular franchise has been pumping out titles left and right and with Rock Band debuting soon they need to step it up. One of their strengths is the easy addition of songs and the song packs on XBox Live are the best selling to date. Guitar Hero III hits stores soon and the complete set list has been leaked. I know I know, fuck Halo 3. Shit is way overhyped and not that overly innovative. After the beta I don’t think anyone cares how much more is there it’s still just noob battles on the console. But at least their not completely stupid and will have clan support in place. Maybe it will be worth a try…or not! (hurry up TF2)
