EA is stepping out the norm and have announced an original IP!! While you can expect them to sequel the hell out of it if it does well it’s nice to see they are actually breeding new content into a marketplace they make stale with all their yearly iterations. As well, this is a sci-fi horror game and I have to admit, horror games scare the shit out of me way more than any horror movie can manage to do nowadays. So here’s the deal on the now announced ‘Dead Space’.
Dead Space is a stereotypical third person survival horror game where you play Isaac Clarke, a space engineer, who sets out on a job to fix a communications ship but soon finds out that the whole crew has been taken over by some sort of alien infestation and that he’s next.
Yeah, sounds a little too Doomish doesn’t it. Well check out the first batch of screenshots and see for yourself if you’ll end up giving money to the EA machine or not. If the answer is no you can always send me the money and I can make zombie noises over the phone….please? I need the money!
Only reason to buy Halo 3? The achievements!
There just never seems to be enough time in the day to accomplish everything. With Halo 3, TF 2 and a host of other games to delve into including that mundane game of real life, been tough to find all the good stuff out in webland. But, the internet doesn’t stop so let’s randomly linkstigate a bit.

Ok, this is weird.
Mike Myers, known for his Austin Powers movies and also for being from Ontario, has announced that his next movie will focus on the Toronto Maple Leafs and their 40 year drought for the Stanley Cup! It’ll be called the Love Guru and he wrote the screenplay himself. Ok, but that’s not the funny part, the cast is. Check out some of the casting already in place:

Looks like the first league to pick up TF2 has been announced. While there’s nothing concrete, if the CPL picks it up then others will as well.
I may be a Halo hater like most of the rest of the clan but I have to admit, after watching this clip from the upcoming show ‘Last One Standing‘ I’m a bit jazzed to watch it, alot more than to play it. Check it out, quite impressive.

I know pretty much everyone has a webcam but do you ever use it? I personally feel it’s the most pointless of the PC accessories, I mean do you really want to have someone staring back at you as you converse? Doubtful. Unless you’re a perv like Lox and hunt on StickAM all day for skanks then sure. But if you do have a webcam there’s a couple of half decent sites to play with.
I dunno if this guy is even human or not but…whoah, he’s a playa.

Halo sucks, get over it
We’re in week 3 in the Ht Fantasy Football League. Week 3 is always make or break for a number of teams in the NFL, like the Eagles and Giants this year if they don’t win week 3 they are done. Same goes for a few people this year, with a shortened schedule for fantasy you only have a number of weeks to win your match-ups. On the bubble already are Speedy, Kenyon, Breathe, Cijid and Hojo with 0-2 starts. This shit just isn’t fair in a 16 team league especially with Lox’s autodraft team at 2-0. Next year we’ll have to do a money league to keep the number of entrants down. Well let’s see how Week 3 progresses…

Hey look, the PS3 finally has a good game.
Wow, its been way more than a week. Sorry, but with Bioshock, TF2 Beta, NHL 08, Skate, and the ET:QW demo free time to surf the internet mindlessly and find funny stuff has been at a minimum. I’m not complaining, however, just making excuses. So, most people have already seen the latest this dude got tazed for questionable reasons video, but have you seen the remixes? They are going to be the Videos of the week because I just can’t decide which is better.
