We all know that for TF2 to survive longterm custom maps are going to need to be in abundance. For that to happen Valve has to support people being able to make the best maps humanly possible. There is a few maps out already, thanks to this thread. Valve has posted some help on their wiki though so get your Hammer crackin’!

As much as I hate Halo I will admit I’ve been playing it and having fun with some of the other features like the Forge and saved replays. But as far as the multiplayer goes I’m just not super excited with it all. So when I first got into game development I had this game concept I wanted to pitch. The idea had you able to build your own apartment, play games to earn money and then outfit your crib with anything you want. Then, you could invite other people to come hang out and play games in your place! Sounds sorta gay, I know but it’s what I envisioned gamers to want to do eventually, have a hub where their avatar can have progression and play mini-games. A place to live outside of their real boring lives. Well, after reading this it looks like someone beat me to the punch. Those bastards!!

Super Size Your Fortress n’ Fries
TF land is about to explode with the Orange Box release only a few days away and tons of noobs who wouldn’t of figured out how to pre-order TF2 to feast on with invincibled pyros and scout headshots galore! We’ve already got recreated classic maps as you can read below and now there’s even a brand new one to check out. Maps are big to download so you want to pre-load all the custom maps off our site over downloading off our servers but at least it’s new battlegrounds to rocketjump around on.
So, you’re going to need to jump on board our servers and join in on the fun and to do that you’ll need to populate your Steams favorite list with them all. So, you can either manually add the IP’s or you can just filter to Team Fortress 2 servers, sort by Server Name and scroll down to [Ht]. Highlight all of our servers, right click, Add to Favorites and you’ll be able to find any of our players at any time of the day. We’ve got servers all across North America so don’t use ping as your excuse if you end up pussying out.
With TF2 upon us we’re readying for war…
