So not everyone knows about my favorite Hostile, Wimpy.
Being from ‘down unda’ most people don’t get to see him in-game (even though if you did that 400 ping would rape you hard). The Wimpster is one of the nicest yet meanest motherfuckers on the planet so buyer beware. Well everyone who wants to know more about Wimpy you’re in luck!! I uncovered a movie that pretty much tells the story of Wimpy and his first dorky girlfriend. It’s a touching tale and Wimpy shows not only his sensitive side but his ability to rape faces with his numchux. With Round 1 of CEVO Playoffs to take place tonight there’s been a bunch of predictions out there. You won’t find any Hostile bashing in either of them as we’ve got the bye and aren’t playing till Thursday in round 2 verus the winner of TDA and RNC.

So this weekend is my birthday.
So don’t expect any updates as I celebrate in a pool of my own vomit.

As the EPL season nears the midway mark it’s time to look at how everyone is doing in the Ht EPL fantasy league. Weirdly enough, only 100 points seperates 1st from 8th. It’s pretty tough to make up points in this style league as a lot of the same players reside on everyone’s rosters. Alc continues to hold onto the #1 spot with Bucky and myself not too far behind. The brothers Indig and Fero continue to stay close, Fluxcore also has been making moves. Rumple and MrBuzzcut are both having great weeks lately. Kart on the other hand has put all of his love for Chelsea into a losing season. A bunch of people have joined the league after it had started and all of them have been having decent weeks lately and have climbed up. Val and Doodle are the newest players and are getting used to the format, most likely because of this announcement.

With the new night comes a new TF2 update, interesting how Valve always releases these things around 7PM PST… isn’t that when most clans are having matches or scrimmages?! Anyways this update fixes a few exploits here and there but the biggest thing is the Source SDK, not sure if that is part of the update but according to Kotaku the SDK has been given Orange Box support. So all you mappers out there can go crazy now. Here is a list of things updated in TF2:
* Improved paged pool memory tracking
* Fixed crash on importing spray logo that claimed to be a valid jpeg file, but wasn’t
* Fixed Medic’s uber-charge stats tracking
* Fixed a bug in scoring Engineer building destruction
* Engineers no longer earn points for using their own teleporters
* Freezepanel hud improvements now trigger on usage of the “jpeg” command
* Fixed Spies exploit enabling them to attack while disguising, without losing disguise
* Fixed Spies being able to attach sappers through thin walls
* Fixed several melee weapon switching exploits
* Fixed exploit that allowed players to teleport with the intelligence
* Fixed a client crash related to MP3 playing
* Improved client handling of stats when a connection couldn’t be made to the stat servers. Fixes several cases of stat loss
Four of the [Ht] servers have been updated already. This includes West Coast Warfare, San Jose Slaughter, Gibkeeg’s Fortress, and Virgina Forts Fiasco. I’m not sure where Chicago Rampage went, but hopefully it’ll be back!
By no means does Ht endorse any of these premonitions. We don’t like to fuck with fate and let nature take its course, much like when a small animal is hunted down and devoured.
Anyways, it’s widely known that the brunt of the TF2 community stems from TFC crews and that the QWTF crews are but a small contigent. But there, in the playoffs are teams such as Paradigm Shift, Jailbait, Random New Clan and Djedi alongside Ht with a host of old schoolers present. There needs to be a slight adjustment to Mad’s post about who we are going against. CEVO went ahead and shuffled around some teams because people were bickering about this and that, the biggest cry was about how the wildcards were seeded. So they got pushed to the bottom of the barrel in seeding and since the seeding got adjusted, so did the brackets. Instead of facing either Team Pandemic or The Experiment, we are now facing either Tap Dat Ass or Random New Clan.
You may have noticed I haven’t posted lately. Well, I’m in Cali on business for the rest of the year. I’m stuck working in the shitty bay area, but when the weekends come along I get to leave. Pictures really don’t do it justice but enjoy these snapshots of my favorite place on earth.
So [Ht] has completed the round robin of CEVO undefeated.
Unfortunately the Pacific division was pretty weak and we had a pretty easy time advancing thanks to 3 wins and 4 forfeits so it was a bit of a surprise to see us ranked #3 overall in the upcoming Playoff bracket. We still have a rough road to advance through the brackets as after our 1st round bye we have to face off versus either Pandemic who finished 1st overall via the CPI or The Experiment, who are regarded one of the upper echelon TF2 clans at this time. So we’ve got our work cut out for us but we’re definitely looking forward to some top level competition.
If you plan to wear your pants below the hips like a thug and this happens, it’s your own damn fault!
