Sure you could watch well known movies like Hot Tub Time Machine or She’s Out Of My League but why when there are decent movies you’ve never heard of out there?! Here’s a few you most likely have no clue even existed.

1. Solomon Kane
A fantasy flick that sets the comic book based Puritan hero against the devil himself, this one didn’t get any fanfare but is a legit movie with a proper budget and takes it all very serious. The lead is a Hugh Jackman clone and does a good job, it’s no Lord of the Rings but it’s better than most of the tripe out there.

2. The 41 Year Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt SuperBad
Ok, this movie is horrible as it’s one of those farce genre movies but it’s so digustingly repugnant it will appeal to some, specifically those who like to gross out their friends when all stoned an drunk. At least they make fun of the some of the better comedies over the past few years and there is one great joke in this movie (watch the credits).

3. Undisputed III: Redemption
This is another movie that won’t be up for Oscars anytime soon but this one should appeal to the overly violent types. The Undisputed series is about an underground MMA tournament in a Russian prison. This one has the hero claw back to fighting healthmar and then gets shipped to another prison to fight in a national bloodfest. While it has plenty of flaws there’s some decent martial arts fight action in here.

4. Valhalla Rising
A gory period piece that harkens back to the Vikings and no not the Brett Favre kind. A nasty Vike deals some serious damage as he traipses through the norse lands. While a bit boring this one is dark and has plenty of bloodlettng so if you’re a bit squeamish skip this one.
