Ah stereotypes. They will always exist because people are inherently clueless and proud, so categorizing a person is an easy way to immediately be on par with that individual. It doesn’t matter what stereotypes you are a part of, someone out there doesn’t like you. You could be a ginger, goth, gay, emo, chinese, short or even a juggalo and someone out there is going to immediately judge you for it. But with most stereotypes they go through an evolution and some become fashionable in todays society. 10 years ago gay people were being beaten to a pulp in the streets, now they are the perfect accessory for the trendy. We have a stereotype that is currently on the negative side, us Gamers. People consider us fat cave dweller tech geeks who sit indoors staring at a screen while life passes us by. While there is some truth to what people think of us it should never be a blanket categorization when it comes to something like this. But it could be worse, you could be a Busey.
