DJ Heroes Unite

Ah DJ Hero, a niche market Guitar Hero clone and a damn good one.

I had a lot of fun playing through this game even though the learning curve is very steep. It has much more micro management than Rock Band or Guitar Hero but that’s OK, we all need a good challenge. As a fan of this type of music there’s a few really well crafted tracks and then a few stinkers but the good mash-ups outweigh the bad easily. The achievements are decent and doable if you’re able to complete tracks on Hard. They did a nice feature where you can never fail a song but then as well, you play a ‘set’ and not just a track so be prepared for the long haul when given the Daft Punk set and have to do 8 tracks in a row. There’s plenty of name DJ’s, including the deceased DJ AM in the game and if you want them right away then after the jump I’ve included all of the cheat codes for them. And if you just don’t give a shit about the game itself and just want to flail to all the weird mash-ups then grab the torrent that has 88 of the 93 tracks.
