When you think of how bad every video game to movie adaptation has been do you think it’s because they just grab the biggest franchises and turn them out like a teen runaway who just hit Hollywood? If they actually took some time to research games with great storylines (which are few and far between) they could find a few gems worthy of transitioning to the big screen. A few that come to mind immediately are Bully (yes I am biased), Prototype and Skate2. Of course when the topic comes up all of the big boys are the ones considered, pfft.
