While the PS3 is becoming a more relevant console day by day it still hasn’t built the user base to be able to compete with the 360 when it comes to online gaming. Even great games like Killzone 2 have dwindling populations. One of Sony’s attempts at building their own online community was by introducing the PS3 Home environment. I’ve had the (dis)pleasure of being in the beta since it launched and over those years we’ve virtually seen nothing exciting. Lots of empty promises but nothing worth getting. In fact the whole thing is annoying with having to always download and Sony proves you can really butcher a good idea. Here’s an article on how lame Home currently is.
