Well we’re into summer now and between the heat stroke and partying it’s highly recommended to relax and watch some of the summer flicks. Thankfully in todays technological age that doesn’t require you to be sitting in some sticky theatre with a bunch of other idiots, you can do it in front of your TV streaming good old rip’s all night. So here’s just a few of the better movies and rips you could be enjoying if you know how a torrent works.

Wanted
Definitely one of the summers big blockbusters, this assassin flick goes way over the top but doesn’t disappoint with a ton of great action and some hilarious moments. While you’re not doing yourself a favor watching this outside a theater this rip is as good as a cam gets, even if a bit of it is cut-off.

The Love Guru
Ok, it has a few things going for it namely Jessica Alba, Vern Troyer, Justin Timberlake as a french canadian goalie and the implausible idea that the Toronto Maple Leafs could be in the Stanley Cup Finals. All of these together don’t save this pretty crappy movie but hey, it’s rare to have a quality Screener available for a movie still out in theaters so this is the best way to avoid paying for something this crappy.

Harold & Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay
This one starts off right where the last one ended but quickly loses the appeal the first one had. The cock jokes get old fast and the weed focus isn’t even that trippy but it’s still 2 hours of stonerrific comedy and how can you complain when it’s DVD quality.

Kung Fu Panda
I didn’t expect to like this movie as much as I did but it’s just gorgeous and hilarious throughout. You may want to wait for the DVD rip but this one is more than adequate and since you need to see this movie, take the plunge and grab it!

Be Kind Rewind
From Jack Black good to Jack Black bad, I disliked this movie from the get go. It just bored me to tears and I can’t recommend watching it but then it is a DVD rip and you can throw it on while doing something useful, like sawing out your eyes.

The Art of War 2: The Betrayal
While I haven’t watched this one yet I definitely plan to because uhh wtf, isn’t Wesley Snipes in jail?! I loved the first one, let’s hope this isn’t a pure cheesefest and built off the first. And if not, least we didn’t give Wesley any bail money.

Stop-Loss
While better than I expected it was still 2 hours of watching Ryan Phillipe which I can’t recommend to anyone. The lone war scene wasn’t too bad but having to wade through Texan accents and boring American muscle flexing put me to sleep.

In Bruges
This was a great flick and some even say movie of the year. A story of 2 assassins who must hide out in Bruges may not be action packed but it progresses nicely and has a few things you won’t see coming. While not the typical Hollywood blockbuster it’s worth the time it takes to download and watch.

Futurama The Beast With a Billion Backs
The 2nd in the straight to DVD movies the gang is back and continues on with their interstellar romps. It’s the same as we’re used to and doesn’t do anything overly special but if you’re a fan of Futurama how else did you plan to watch this?

Step Up 2: The Streets
I know most of you will balk at the thought of watching some crappy dance movie sequel. I hear ya, these are always painful to watch. But hold up, this one actually does a lot of things right. It has a funny storyline with some actual interesting characters, it has a ton of breaking and one of the best ending choreographed scenes of any dance movie. If you’re bored take the chance.

While I haven’t watched it nor do I really care to this modern day Karate Kid has got to have a few things we can all enjoy. Hot chicks and head busting. Mixed martial arts takes over when the new kid comes to town, yeah you know the rest.
