When I first started playing Age of Conan I wasn’t overly impressed with the graphical presentation. As a game developer the way a game is modeled and how environments are lit are huge indications to me to the level of production the game gets overall. But I have to admit, this game threw a bit of a screwball on me as I started to play it as the graphics continually get better as the game progresses. Sure, the player models overall are a bit stricken with down syndrome but in a game where hundreds of original characters are needed I guess I’ll let that one slide. Here’s a nice fly-in of how amazing a big city can look in this game.
