I was reading Nerd World, a blog from one of the producers of the Simpsons who obviously isn’t doing jack shit right now with the writers strike and has plenty of time to write about other stupid stuff. A few gaming tidbits noticed were dug up that may be of interest to you other nerds. Like The Game Critic Awards who named BioShock game of the year. At least you get to see how the judges voted in this one. One of the games that some people voted very highly but didn’t make the list is Desktop Tower Defence which is one dope flash game! I bet you’ve never even heard of it, noob. There’s also word of more Portal coming from Valve, well duh. It’s easily the most innovative game we’ve seen in years and of course had a great sense of humour with the best game credits of all time.
