Anyways, it’s widely known that the brunt of the TF2 community stems from TFC crews and that the QWTF crews are but a small contigent. But there, in the playoffs are teams such as Paradigm Shift, Jailbait, Random New Clan and Djedi alongside Ht with a host of old schoolers present. Well over at the Catacombs it seems a few TFCer’s have been making predictions on the outcome of round 1 and the overall tournament. Click the jump to see if you agree.

Underground KingZ vs Jailbait

New bracket, new game of the week. Jailbait knocked down to #16 is a bit harsh, but a heck of a lot more accurate. KingZ are serious business to scrim, they haven’t really been challenged in cevo till now. GG to both, I think I have to go with Jailbait in a shootout.

Balloons vs Nurfed

I’ve never heard of Nurfed, but they’re playing balloons. Balloons are a bunch of guys who are into freaky balloons, but they’re no joke. They’ve beat a weakened PURE GAMING and have been highly active in scrim channels and on forums Good luck in r2 Balloons.

CAP n Crunch vs Dorks with tranquilizers

The battle of the overrated. I’ve heard from reliable sources that CnC doesn’t take TF2 seriously… so don’t expect much from them in cevo. DWT are top 10-15 at best (cough tgl cough). GL both teams: DWT over CnC unless fatal1ty shows up and proves me wrong.

BOSS vs 407 Death Clan

I’ve scrimmed neither… seen BOSS on pubs quite frequently. They seem to have some skills. 407 has 3 forfeit wins and really hasn’t had one real challenge in cevo. I predict BOSS wins and proves 407 is a waste of a playoff spot. (poor HSE…)

Tap Dat Ass vs Random New Clan

This game will be crazy. TDA is serious business as much as they’d like you to think otherwise. Random New Clan won’t give up without a fight. As a member of RNC all I can say is GL to both teams =)

Digital Jedi vs The Experiment

The experiment will be coming out in full force. By cevo record this matchup appears borderline even, but anyone that has scrimmed ex. Knows they’ll bring the hurt. Rumors are they’ve come extremely close to taking the dr’s down on well. Jedi’s will be go down 4-0 on this one.

Team Pandemic vs Midnight Tokers

Lucky break for Pandemic, they shouldn’t lose this matchup. They were going to get stomped by experiment only to be “saved by the CEVO bell.”
