Everyone is playing Call of Duty Blackops right now. The poor PC players aren’t however, thanks to insane lag but the consolers are doing just fine. How long will this game last? Who knows, we already have a few people approaching their 5th prestige. But one thing we do know, we’re going to see a lot of high end development and advertising from this franchise as it continues to make more money than any other media out there, save iPhones. I loved the commercial they released alongside the game, which stars Kobe and a few others. If you haven’t seen this yet then you have been missing out! MMO and FREE.

Down at PAX this weekend they showed off some video of an up and coming game called FireFall. While it uses a TF2 cartoony style there is some darkness to the game and looks to be a mix of Tribes, Planetside and Starship Troopers. Now that there is some serious buzz about this game I am sure we will see a lot more in the coming months. Check out the gameplay, looks great.

I was asked what about this rumored Ubisoft game is, since I used to be employed by them. I have no clue what it is but looking at the video it definitely looks fake. We haven’t seen any technology allowing games to be made to that level just yet and if there was I don’t think Ubisoft would be at the forefront of that movement. So sorry, as good as it looks it’s got to be a fake. If it is real then it’s going to be the most intense game ever, I can tell you that! Like Halflife in virtual 3D.
