1. How Not To Live Your Life s1
2. IT Crowd s3
3. Breaking Bad s1
4. Californication s2
5. Gary Unmarried s1

Honorable mention to the American version of the Office. Once it got out of the mire of copying the UK one it's gotten quite good.

And my biggest disappointment is Worst Week on Mondays after the 3 good sitcoms. What a stinker.

1. Dexter
2. Brotherhood (started slow, got really good towards the end)
3. Ghost Adventures (the SciFi pilot episode fucking rocked, the travel channel ones are good too)
4. True Blood (Lots of hot chicks, and vampires)
5. Ghost Hunters (It's starting to get cheesy)

Shows that I always stop to watch.

1. Family Guy
2. South Park

Show's the Jumped the shark.

1. Weeds (this season was fucking retarded).
2. Californication (He needs to drop the whole ex-wife shit, and start fucking more hot chicks again).

Shows/ mini-series that I started getting onto this year in no particular order:

1.  Life - Sarah Shahi is a hottie.
2.  Generation Kill
3.  Dirty Jobs - Always a good time sink.
4.  Big Bang Theory
5.  The trio of shows along the same lines (America's Deadliest Catch/Ice Road Truckers/The logging).

Honorable mentions are:

Storm Chasers
Future Weapons
How Stuff Works

I started watching True Blood, but it got kind got gimicky and time compressed towards the end of the season.

Entourage S5
IT Crowd S3
Survivorman S3 - I don't really know why but I love this show
The Office S5
And believe it or not I liked the latest season of survivor.

I saved the shield for later watchings since I want to catch up on arrested development. I also used to watch every episode of the following shows but I guess they've lost my interest....
South Park
Family Guy
Always Sunny in Philadelphia

HD World report (if you have HD and you don't DVR this show, your missing out)
Entourage S5 (so so season but the sequence with "Fake Plastic Trees" on the runway was genius)
Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel (my wife will watch it too, very important when you are married and like to watch TV in bed)
How Not to live your live (first 6 episodes, thanks for the referral, Mad)
Biography (The Biography Channel series)

Honorable Mention:
The Soup (Guilty pleasure for sure but I LoL at least once each week)

I actually think TV really sucks these days and very few of these shows (sans HD World Report) would I truly recommend. Come to think of it, perhaps it is me who has changed and I now suck. My DVR is dominated by news magazine shows (20/20, Dateline, etc.)
